MELIORE developed a salary scale respecting the employees’ request, and added a few levels of details. This grid was so complex that it was difficult to analyze the impact of its use without sophisticated tools.
The collective agreement was ratified at 95% by the employees, thanks to the new salary grid, while the employer has reduced wage increases by 36% from the previous collective agreement.
